While the bandage is on:

  • The bandage is water-resistant, so you can shower with it on, but avoid soaking or prolonged water exposure as water can sometimes seep in.

  • Wear loose clothing to prevent friction against the bandage and tattoo.

  • It’s normal to notice slight moisture buildup under the bandage, which can make your tattoo look blurry. This is plasma pulling up tiny ink fragments a natural part of the healing process.

Bandage removal:

  • Keep the second-skin bandage on for 4–5 days after your session.

  • To remove, do so gently under warm running water or with a skin-safe body oil.

  • The bandage may feel tight and require some effort to remove. Don’t be alarmed if you see dried ink fragments on it this is completely normal.

  • When the bandage comes off, your tattoo may look faded or dull. This is just a stage of healing.

After removal:

  • For the next 10–12 days, keep the tattoo moisturized. Apply a thin layer of organic coconut oil 3–4 times daily (or as needed).

  • Do not oversaturate the skin, too much lotion or oil can actually pull pigment from the tattoo and slow healing.

  • If the bandage peels or causes discomfort before 4 days, remove it the same way (warm water or oil) and continue care with tattoo cream.
